The cold embrace of death as the life drains away
And my flesh begins to rot, my skin has turned gray
My soul lingers like smoke in a still room
I am not of this world and yet I still remain

But there are others here too
Hidden from the daylight
Some were people, others are worse
The hounds of smoke, traveling through darkness
Hunting for their master, searching for prey

And when they find their mark, he will be summoned
To gaze upon the victim while they sleep
And if that luckless soul should catch his eye
